Quick, PL experience, gets a few goals. I'm up for it.

I would definitely take him.

Committed, played at the right level, knows the club, knows some of the players, knows the area. Personally would rather have him in the number 10 shirt than Groß.

Why not?
Cos he can't hit a cows arse with a banjo... seems good enough reason not to sign him to me!

He wouldn't be our main striker though, I'd say he is as prolific as Hemed, but a bit quicker, a bit better at running the lines and as good on the ball. Suspect he won't be very expensive either. A good squad player, but not the answer to the striker issue.

Quick......WTF?

For a striker, as opposed to an out and out winger (where he spent his last couple of seasons for us playing) I seem to remember he was relatively quick - as opposed to the Hemed, Murray, Ulloa kind of striker. Maybe I'm wrong.

He's far from quick. I'd say no quicker than Murray.

Wouldn't be the exciting signing we're all hoping for, but by no means would he be a bad signing. If signing Barnes is what we need to stay up, count me in!
