Just about to cycle home through this unholy murk. The girlfriend wants me to get the tube, but if I have a 20 mph wind behind me all the way northwards, then it's a cycling evening alright.

Anyone else noticed the strange coloured light today?

Having done a quick search, it seems to be due to Saharan dust being drawn North by Ophelia.

Everything outside has a bizarre hue to it.

Wish I'd read that before hiding in the basement for three hours.

Yes same down here in Plymouth this morning and the sky has been milky white all day.
A ridiculous 20 degrees at 6am too.
Also had sand all over my van today.
Wind has not been as strong here as forecast though.
Last time I saw this was in Tenerife when the wind was blowing off the Sahara.

I've not heard anyone else mention a plague of mini-bugs amoung the African dust so it's time to get myself checked out.

Blooming dark at 3pm in HoveI thought it was Gods punishment for trons swearing and story telling
