With our league game at Anfield on Saturday, many Albion fans will be keen to support the demo that they have planned. I have received this email from Gareth at The Spirit Of Shankly, the biggest fan group on the red side of Liverpool. https://spiritofshankly.com/news/

Gareth saw the pictures of the demo outside the Albert on Saturday and wrote as follows:

Obviously we're aiming for something similar for Saturday's match with Brighton to keep the momentum going and it would be great to get as many of both sets of supporters there pre-match to show the solidarity between fans on this issue.

In terms of logistics we'll be meeting at the Fans Supporting Foodbanks donation point where Walton Breck Road meets Kemlyn Road (and where The Kop meets the Kenny Dalglish stand). The purple lock-up on the picture below is the donation point.

It's also just across from Homebaked, which I'd heartily recommend for a pre-match pie: https://www.homebakedbakery.com/

We think we'll be looking at 1.30pm to display the banner and get some photos, so if we could all aim for then that would be great. If you could share on socials in advance to drum up some support and generally spread the word that this is happening that would be fantastic.

Hopefully we'll add plenty of Blue & White to the event and show our strong support for the campaign.

I remember reading so many STs at Liverpool were passed down families for years. Are they still able to do this now I assume tickets are now digital

My understanding is there was an amnesty a few years ago where they allowed a transfer of ownership so that the person named on the season ticket was the person using it (as opposed to a deceased relative for example). That option no longer exists.
