I really hope they survive these financial difficulties, but lose on Sat...

Sounds like they have avoided administration at least for now. Lets hope they can find a buyer over the summer and start next season in a better position even if it means re-thinking their ambitions for a few years.

Collection time?

Not sure it would help. Reading the statement it sounds like it is a long term problem. Having said that it couldn't do any harm.

Is Dicker out of contract in the summer? We should "contribute" 25K to their survival and pick him up asap.

Scratch the last email. He is contracted until next summer. They apparently paid 40K for him, so lets offer them 50K and get him asap.

Dicker is worth a punt at £25k but no more. When a club is in financial difficulties they have to consider all offers.

There is a trust meeting next week which will vote on changing the rules to allow the sale of the club. There are possibly some people currently willing to come in it seem.

As for Dicko, he's already yours. The 'loan' deal was not a loan at all but a sale in all but name.

As for collections, too late unfortuantely. I could go into details but to do so would potentially leave NSC open to legal action as some of what I know is not public domain, if you really want to know more then meet me and UB and Graham Dagless (if you ever answer the sodding mail Graham :dunce:) on Saturday.

Edit to add.

Hello County casual, don't be a stranger. Register and join in, some of them here are quite nice. As you can see I've been a member for 6 years now.

Really hope you get it sorted in one way of the other. We more then most know what it is like to have the threat of losing the club that you love.

If they have a clear out in the summer and Dicker is available at a good price then it's good for us and we help them out financially (again) so it's win win.

It's a sickener with a couple of clubs just up the road having so much dosh available.

Small clubs don't matter any more.

Pity.

Good luck.
