Although called, Master and Commander the Far Side of the World, the story is an amalgamation of two of the twenty two Aubrey books by Patrick O'Brian. This shot from the film is part of the Far Side of the World story. Shot in a tank, it's the most lifelike ship in a storm sequence I've ever seen, and I've been there!
