I was told by a steward that they are no longer employed by Ecovert (from 1st March) but by BHA. I wonder why!!! Could we be staying at Withdean for the foreseeable future?

No - the Ecovert contract to manage Withdean has finished.

This means the Albion have greater control over matchday fixtures and fittings and, most importantly, a lower costbase for matchdays.

Does this mean that BHA are taking over the contract to run Withdean? It would appear that even if we are given permission for Falmer it will take at least 3 years to build. The worry is that we will run Withdean successfully and then find that Brighton & Hove Council will realise that for the first time since it was built in 1935 Withdean can make money. Everything else that has been tried at Withdean has been a financial disaster and a drain on the rates, including the athletics.

I still believe, with regret, that Withdean will be our eventua permanent home.

it will never make the kind of money a 22 thousand seater will.

Also i believe the club will keep it and use it as a training ground.
