He is a very neat player, you don't often hear praise for what he does on the pitch but when do you ever hear moaning about Thompson? Probably needs more time to fit in and then i think judgement would be easier .

I think he had a mixed game tonight. At times he looked very good, at others poor.

I think he did, to be honest with you. Amongst the general mess that was our team, he emerged with credit. He rarely loses the ball, and actually seems capable of passing it forwards (take note Fraser and El Abd). He's tough in the tackle, and also very vocal. Quality signing in my opinion, and man of the match for us tonight (not that that's saying much).

Agree with you on the whole, but the one time he did lose the ball it nearly lost us the game................

The only midfielder of any class we've got. A real touch of quality about everything he does in my opinion. Much better than Hammond, and much better than anyone else we've got.

I agree that he is by far and away the best midfield player in the squad.

He had a bad game tonight, it happens!
