As I heard someone rightly say to one of the stewards today..

"You're not allowed to support this football team anymore".

Since when has being passionate been a crime.

Jobsworths!

 We all get carried away at times but that's why we love football. I was sat fairly near this guy and apart from the odd F coming from around us (dont even know if it was him - there were a good 5 vocal people) there was nothing offensive atall. It wasn't the family section FFS. Glad this bloke gave them shit back - was brilliant to see!

Thanks Greens :(
I was sitting high up behind him and what made him stand out was he was the only bloke standing up every now and again venting his opinion. The place was like a f***ing morgue today for the first hour, and with only him standing up intermittently, the stewards no doubt noticed this/him...

With about fifty stewards and law basically watching a passive crowd, they feel the need to earn their corn, and laddo was on the receiving end, unfortunately for him...

What happened today was a disgrace, all those stewards trying to out stare the whole of block e/d for the whole of the second half to then get excited when he stood up to leave at the end. I've sat behind him for the whole of the withdean years and he did absolutely nothing today.

If we have those stewards at falmer we will be the club away and home fans won't want to come to again, with or without colourd lights and thatis what the club needs to look at

I have to say I sit in D block and cannot recollect being stared out by stewards however I saw what happened it was totally over the top and a pointless thing to do.

Thats what annoys me, we went to Gillingham away 4 or 5 seaons ago and had the coppers with their video cameras on us for the entire game, so of course by the end of the game I was bloody infuriated with them, and frankly advised them at the end of the game they had no right to keep footage of me when I was not doing anything except supporting my team on a saturday afternoon, but they begged to differ, so I got angry...talk about entrapment! Nothing happened but it all was rather sour and unenjoyable...

We all see things differently but all the people around me in the middle of the block where feeling we were being watched ( may have all noticed it as we were talking about it )

You mean people whose job it is to look out for any trouble in the crowd were staring at the crowd? How dare they?!

Nothing wrong with that. It's when it's carried to excess that I get pissed off. Stewards are not supposed to behave as if they are the main attraction. When they do, it becomes impossible not to be distracted by it and it ruins the game for hundreds of supporters who have no choice in the matter.

No idea if it was coincidence or not but there was a relatively huge Police presence today who possibly had to prove their existence.

I've sat near Steve for the whole time we've been playing at Withdean. Yes our area of E Block can get quite vocal at times but yesterday we were all fairly quiet. I can't believe the steward's reaction as Steve did absolutely nothing wrong. About five of them were staring at us from the running track for what seemed like half an hour.

Steve's a true die-hard Albion fan and I believe deserves an apology from the club ASAP.
