There's a good book by a guy called Ben Smith, who played for Evans at a couple of clubs which gives an insight into his working methods.

Interesting little piece on him in the FL paper. He says he was offered a Championship fire fighting job and apparently was linked to Forest (I suppose likely to have been another short term appointment given the ownership situation there) but wanted to take on a role where he'd be given time to work on a getting a team up the divisions like at Crawley and Rotherham. Sounded quite sensible although I have no idea if Mansfield have owners with deep pockets to fund the losses required to gain promotion on crowds of 3k.

She is married to the owner now. And is still CEO.
Rather have Pardew when Palace relive him...
I hope they do relive him......... another year would be funny.
