I caught the Jools Holland show earlier this week and thought on the one number they played Steve and the Dukes/Duchesses sounded great but looked a little wooden. Hopefully they will get a bit more of an airing tonight. However the following night saw them live in Cambridge and wasn't disappointed. As promised by those of you that saw him last week at The Dome he did a 3hr set, an amazing range of music and then did a lengthy post show meet and greet spending time with anyone who wanted to chat.

Absolute class and such a talented band too. Alison Moorer has a fab voice and is very pleasant on the eye too. Hope they visit the UK again soon.

Becoming by far my favourite musician. Out there doing it all the time and not charging £150 for the privilege. I asked him after for some tips about New Orleans, following his appearances on Treme. He even gave me details of the bands favourite hotel. Saving up from now.
