hire him.....discussion over

 and curbs as joint manager and peter taylor as first team coach.

You know what, i was joking but i wonder if Curbs and Coppell might actually enjoy working together. Wages might be a bit on the steep side though

When will you IDIOTS see some sense. You should NEVER EVER go back and Coppell (DODGY SHORTS) is also TAINTED by being appointed by Dick Knight (LIAR!!!) and therefore must be rubbish anyway. Remember that Dick Knight told Coppell where he hid the stash and Coppell was BOUGHT OUT and been silent about it since leaving.

There is only one man for the job and that is Dean Wilkins (Lovely Smile and thighs!!!!!) who we all know was SACKED for finding out that Dick Knight had buried the money he stole from the Cup Final in '83 under the REMF flag, which explains why the flag has never been seen for ages.

Tony Bloom (UNDECIDED!!) is the Nookie Bear to Dick Knight's Roger de Courcey, except he is marginally better at three card brag due to having fingers instead of paws.

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
Never go back also he ran out on Reading when he knew the going would get tough as the players were no longer good enough, so forget about him.

He gave Reading some decent service (5 1/2 years). So 'running out on them' is a little unfair. He seemed to feel that he had taken them as far as he could take them and did the decent thing and walked (having taken them to the playoffs), as opposed to signing an extension or seeing out the rest of his contract which would have been the easiest thing to do.

He was LMA manager of the year for two successive seasons.

Players no longer good enough? Sure they are struggling and have sold their main strikers (Lita, Kitson, Doyle), but they may well bounce back soon. Early days for Brendan Rodgers.

I thinks Curbishley is due a nice little pay off (£3m) from West Ham in the next couple of weeks so maybe wages wont be so much of a problem

You can't really blame Coppell for taking Reading down, in their two years of Premier League football they spent what? 3million max? Madejski sent them up the river when they had the new stadium and now without Premier League had to sell the big wages for big money to cover the stadium costs. I would love to have him back.

He wouldn't be interested in the £30k that we were paying Wendy then would he!
