Come on some of the stuff he says is funny, but production wise he is a complete amateur, the stuff is messy his snare and hi hats are so formulaic that it hurts and he samples sloppily.

And when he attempts to get serious...what's that song called...sharp darts...he actually lifts whole lines from the Wu Tang (cardinal sin) and humiliates himself with the sheer lack of talent on offer.

Can u tell me is he also parodying a Dick Van Dyke accent?

You clearly know your stuff Dwayne. Personally, I cannot stand garage i.e. So Solid, Oxide etc. I think it's an awful 'gimmicky' sound that isn't, IMHO, on a par with decent D & B.

I found The Streets to be a breath of fresh air the first few times I heard 'Original Pirate material'. So what if he's taking the piss out of white working class people. He's got a right, he's lived it.

It's much more relevant to me than some whinging, white, American rapper droning on about himself or that gangsta sh*te from the 'hood'. Poppycock.

I liked Mr. Writer by the Phonics but their cover of Gladrags was the most shite and annoying record of that year. Everything else has been blox since.


Manics are OK. Not for, or against. At least they are a band playing instruments though. And, in my definition, can be considered musicians.
