I've just been wondering what is more boring, listening to the Stereophonics or listening to paint dry.

I think the Stereophonics are more boring.

Have to disagree, sure we've discussed this before. I think they are quite good actually and after redecorating the whole house I would listen to Stereophonics whilst WATCHING paint dry.

I think the stereophonics are a top band......

I also agree with Dwayne on Norah Jones, she is true class. That album is one of my favorites for the summer

The Streets are excellent. An irreverent slant on today's culture. Really good live.

Find the Stereophonics tiresome. V. bland.

Norah Jones has got an incredible voice. Check out the chorus on 'Don't Know Why' - and she's cute too!

I agree with your second point but The Streets? Do me a favour! Their lyrics are total bollocks. Irereverent slant my arse!

Geezers need excitement, if their lives don't provide it they turn to violence, it's common sense, simple common sense.

I can honestly say I do not remember hearing a bigger load of bolllocks than that shit. And the whole album is full of it.

Mike Skinner ("the streets") is supposed to be an iconic, postmodern, ironic, originator and that's why it's only sad white middle class students like him. He should have stayed wanking in his bedroom.

Simster. Mr Popkins and Dwayne,

The Streets is completely taking the piss, don't you get it? It's not all about lyrics anyway. The music is original, well, as original as it can be in the type of genre.

Simster, the bloke is having a laugh. He's taking the piss out of the scally, Sun reading, meathead generation. If you don't like it that's fine. There's no need to make such a generalised comment about it.

Dwayne. I am white. I am no longer a student. I'm not going to get into a keyboard war with you. I have a life and plenty of work to do. Obviously, you can relate to Mike Skinner's alledged bedroom antics.

I think if you listen to his new stuff like 'Give me my lighter back', 'Pure Garage' and 'The Streets Score' you'll realise just how much he is taking the rise, particularly out of those who take him as a serious musician.

On a side note he is pretty well respected by a lot of garage producers.

Oh yeah and its his debut album, and he was 22 when he made it.
