Based on stats since 1998 no ones ever gone down with 52 pts. In my mind I've put the games in 3 sections.
Winable - Leicester H , Millwall H , Rotherham A , Plymouth A
Drawable - Reading H , W.Ham H , Burnley A , Coventry A , Stoke A
Loseable - Ipswich H , Wigan H , Preston A
After results this season anything can happen, I really can't see us going down though. Looking forward to tonights results !!

You can tell I'm bored.......

Fookin unbelievable. 2001 Pompey and Palace stay up by one single POINT with 49...remember that Stockport match where Palace had to win - and cheated with their goal as well (handball on the break I think).

SCUM.

I'll never forget that. With 2 games to go, both scums were in the SHIT and met each other at Twatton. Then final game, not only did Pàlace fluke victory at Stockport thanks to some cheating, but the blue SHITE also won, beating Barnsley, and Huddersfield screwed up.

To this day, I haven't forgiven Huddersfield for f***ing up a division 2 derby which we'd have WON easily.

I think 50 will be plenty. Though I also think we will get 55ish so will not be involved.

The current bottom 3 will go down IMO.

Gillingham: 4pts away from safety

Forest: 9pts away from safety

Rotherham: 13pts away from safety

Disagree - think Plymouth are down either Gills / Forest will survive

I think the best thing going for us is Plymouth's woeful form. Even if Gillingham or Forest stage a remarkable turnaround, I don't see Plymouth managing to overhaul us, especially if we avoid defeat in Devon.

In fact I think Gillingham will escape relegation at Plymouths expense

Gillingham have a dreadful run-in full of teams trying to make the playoffs or automatic.

Forest have it difficult for the next few games but their final 6 are definitely winnable (including Gills home last game). I think they'll stay up ahead of Rotherham, Plymouth and Gillingham.
