I think you need a reality check there young man. She lived in Essex yet thought East Angular was abroad.
and was seen to be a bit dim.
Its sad to hear about her, or indeed anyone, dying so young,
but couldnt not understand when heard strangers sobbing on the radio..
And Max Clifford was on full form, making out thousands are going to line the funeral route.. and the whole thing is going to be on tv as well..
ffs. Has it come to this, when people grieve for someone they have never met
as if Jade was like a Princess Diana figure, or slagging her off for being perhaps not the brightest tool in the box, but then hailing her as some saviour of the cancer screening program..
Were said threads actually about her death, or the ghoulish media circus and public outpourings from people she had never met surrounding her final days/weeks etc?
3,000 a week die from cancer in this country, they are all tragedies to those connected to the deceased, but don't register a flicker in the Red Tops or internet.
Yesterday a 20 year old Rugby League player died in a match, no RIP threads on NSC, two weeks Tim Kretschmer killed 16 people, many of them young and totally innocent, in Germany, how did we react on NSC, by talking about Slade, Knight and the usual shite, we didn't give a flying f***.
The reaction to JG's death is disproportionate to the contribution she made to our lives (which, lets be honest, was zero), and many people find it (the reaction and mawkishness of politicians and fellow bandwagon hoppers) distasteful. It does not mean that many (if any) on this site wished her to die young from cancer, and I would have thought that that was clear in their posts.
Some would say it is distasteful to take the piss out of someone's death, but are they lampooning the death itself, or the hypocritical headlines in the press who have loved every second of the past few weeks, because it SELLS MORE COPIES OF THEIR RAGS. They know it, Max Clifford knows it, Jade Goody I suspect didn't.

Seeing how Jade has joined the "Forever 27" club she has surely taken on a new quasi religious status!
The Forever 27 Club
The Church of Jade:
Celebrant: Brothers and Sisters in Jade
All: Awright mate!
Celebrant: On this the holy feast day of the blessed Jade we are urged to look within ourselves and to our neighbour fo forgiveness of our sin through Jade as we say:
All:
Our Father, whoever he is
Hello its me again!
In Aquascutum
In Basildon
In Erith and in Laindon
Give us this day
Our ASBO tag
And forgive us our chavness
As we go around lakeside
In our Reebok trainers
And lead us not into college
But onto the BB show
For wine from the offie
The Vodka and the red bull
Endeavour never
Crouch end.
A friend of mine at work has said they've moved the Grand National forward by two hours as a mark of respect and not to clash with the funeral so people can watch them both.
I feel sorry for Jade and probably won't forget her death simply because I am still numb with grief having just come back from England after burying my mother. I don't get all this national outpouring of grief though and remember when Diana died and thought it was all a bit pathetic to be honest. I mean, how can you grieve for someone you don't even know?
In fairness she probably had less random cock than Diana.
see her as an inspiration for others stuck in the underclass
No chance, so slide your slimey class ridden heads back into your middle class shells and see her as an inspiration for others stuck in the underclass and not a parasite on society as the royals are.
you think the "underclass" buy OK magazine?
In fairness she probably had less random cock than Diana.
Going to the funeral then? Or grieving privately at home?Jade, as we all are, was the random connection between a man and a women.
That random connection between 2 people makes some people on here think we should pay for the child to have the most expensive education money can buy, a palace to live in and unlimited expences to live there lives as a prince.
But other children that simply ask for a roof to live under and something to eat are villified as f***ing parasites.
Jade had to deal with this crap, her mother was too smashed to make her go to school, so what the f*** would you know about life the universe and everything if you had left school aged 11!
Laughing at people that had a lesser education than yourself is bullying and shows the real intention of the bully, I'm better than you.
If you'd had the shit life she had and the horrible start she had, would you have ended up with the money she had? Would your death have made the news at 10, would the prime minister have commented.
No chance, so slide your slimey class ridden heads back into your middle class shells and see her as an inspiration for others stuck in the underclass and not a parasite on society as the royals are.
