Is Rooney suspended?
Yep.

--------------Robinson--------
Carragher-Ferdinand-Terry(c)-Bridge
Bentley--Carrick--Gerrard--Cole
----------Owen--Crouch-------

What worries me is the lack of any ball winning midfielder in the squad, unless we plan to use Neville, Smith, or King out of position. :nono:

Surely "we" have to include an actual right-back. Carragher is a decent centre-half who battles hard, but he cannot control or play a decent part in a move. I know Bridge would be our attacking full-back, but surely we could play a specialist right-back too, giving the wing some pace or movement with slowmo Beckham in front of him.

Are you advocating the use of Phil Neville?

anyone apart from beckham, all we see again is him taking free kicks, corners, penalties. Treading on everyone’s toes because he wants to be the star.

All the **** cares about is his hair. Quarter finals against Brazil in 2003, lost or should say bottled out of the tackle that led to their winning goal, hit the floor and got up and adjusted his hair for the cameras. Total prick.

The Fa, Mclaren, beckham are useless ****s, f*** off and die fuckers.

Agreed, but with Gary Neville and Micah Richards out, who is there?

Luke Young or Glen Johnson are the ones I can think of, mediocre Premiership players really.

:(
Yes, maybe.
I'd most like to throw Neville in a moat of ravenous, dance-happy crocodiles and sexmad seahorses, but Carragher is just not a right-back, and surely some understanding and experience of the position makes you most suited to play there. Neville has done so rather often this season in a relatively reasonable team, and is thick enough to just run all day. Like Cole does. Unable to recognise when to stop and rest.

I'm torn. And ripped.
