So now we’re safe, Chris will probably keep his job. Not my choice as I don’t think we will progress under him and this season has been absolutely painful to watch but I can see why some will say he’s earnt that chance. Do we expect to see any changes to this side starting next season though? Will be interesting to see if there are but I doubt there will be and it will be another long season ahead:

Ryan

Bruno
Dunk
Duffy
Bong

March
Stephens
Propper
Knockaert

Gross
Murray

Bruno to retire.

Pröpper strongly linked with Ajax.

Replace both of them if it comes to it, add another in central midfield, and sign another striker.

Quality, not quantity.

HAVE A 25 MAN SQUAD, NOT A 23 MAN SQUAD.

Play the team you've posted and we'll finish 19th/20th.

But that won't be the team. I, and many others, am convinced CH is going nowhere, so surely TB will heavily invest in the squad, as it's clearly not good enough

The starting XI is pretty meaningless if they're all still asked to play as full backs.

its clearly obvious to all that the team is not good enough, and time for serious surgery required.....That may even include Dand D leaving to pastures new..however the SQUAD needs serious injection of quality and the 1st 11 needs PL proven players...not players from dutch league on cheap

I would like to see a couple of quality loan signings and instead if trying to get 5 or six in sign 2 quality players. Central midfield and striker.

Absolutely. Hoping that getting Ashworth in will see us centre our recruitment more around the UK

This is a stupid thread as there are too many unknowns that nobody not even CH TB or DA can answer

“Stupid thread” - coming from you, that hurts!

The point is, CH being the manager he is, I don’t think it makes a lot of difference what TB and DA do recruitment wise in the summer. If CH is still the manager, I wouldn’t expect many changes to personnel or style at all anyway. It’s going to be another predictably dull season.

Well if that turns out to be our starting line up then we may as well concede relegation now ! A third season in the PL and still largely our Championship team would show very little progress. We have seriously got to add some PL quality and pace into our starting 11 if we’re to avoid the drop. Our squad needs some serious surgery this summer and hopefully TB, PB, CH & the recruitment team all recognise what a close shave we’ve had this season.
