maybe Sam Baldock on the bench too?
It's not the 2018/19 season yet.

Is it worth disrupting the rhythm of the team? That's a dangerous game to be playing. One of our biggest strengths is how well the whole team function with each other, breaking that rhythm might mean it takes us a few games to get it back.
That being said, Suttner for Bong is an absolute must.
Hardly worth the risk.Agreed - good shout. Time for some rotation - maybe Sam Baldock on the bench too?
We were talking about resting / squad rotation last night, and I agree with the suggestions given.
I'd not want to be telling a player that he's being rested for Manchester United at Old Trafford though...
Best XI possible
Go for the win
Win
Confidence through the roof
Demolish Palllllllace
Establish as EPL team
Finish 8 th-14th for the next 20 years (win the milk cup twice)

Swap Solly for Antony on the right, keep Murray up top.
Cool, we're all in agreement. Give other players a chance, and have the first 11 ready to go for the bigger game next Tuesday. We were talking about resting / squad rotation last night, and I agree with the suggestions given.
Maybe you can let Chris tell them this time? Just make sure he knows what we've all decided.I'd not want to be telling a player that he's being rested for Manchester United at Old Trafford though...

How does he get away with this shite?
The game against Palace is a 6 pointer. They are clearly relegation rivals, whereas Utd aren't. It's irrelevant to us how many points Utd end the season with, but denying Palace points next Tuesday is important. So no, it being a home game is not the only difference.Supporters hype as the same 3 points are at stake for either game.

On top of that is the realistic expectation from the game. We're 22-1 to beat Utd. Of course whichever team we play will try and cause an upset, but it's unlikely we'll get anything from the game. We have a much better chance against Palace, so it's more important we have the best team available to take that chance.
That's purely based on what's best for our chances of survival this season, without taking into account that we'd like to do well against Palace.
