Am I the only person on the planet who as never seen a single Star Wars film?

However in keeping with the NSC tradition of saying stuff like "I never saw Peter Ward so I voted for Bobby Zamora as best Albion striker" I've voted for LoR.

Lord of the Rings does it for me.

I have to confess that I haven't managed to watch the whole of any of the Star Wars films, even though the kids watch them all the time. It just doesn't grab me like LotR does.

And I haven't seen any of the Matrix films.

Dune, anyone? (I haven't seen that, either!!)

Has to be star wars but I have to admit that so far LOTR has been amazing and I'm sur ein years to come I will look back on it with the same fondness as I do star wars now. Shame they decided to do the other episodes of star wars as they are shite and ruin the first three a little

I think it's an age thing as well. If you were a kid when Star Wars first came out you were probably blown away with it. Now you might watch it and not feel quite the samem

I was a teenager when Star Wars first came out - and I didn't see any of any of the films until my kids got into it a couple of years ago.

Don't have to be a kid to be blown away by LotR. In fact, it's probably better to be older as it's easier to understand. My kids are just a little scared of it, but think Star Wars is fun.

LOTR, though Star Wars is a VERY close second.

My reasons:

With LOTR the story is actually much better. I mean the Ewoks, what the f*ck are they all about in Return of the Jedi. The Empire Strikes Back is the best Star Wars Film IMO

Matrix 2 sent me to sleep TWICE before seeing it through to its conclusion. The fight scenes are amazing though and I did enjoy it.

I haven't voted, but if I did it certainly would't be for the Matrix. I loved the first film, I didn't rate the second, but let it off cos I was hopeful for the third... but boy did that one let me down.

I walked out of the cinema feeling ripped off (and I only spent £3 - gotta love machines that will sell you student tickets with no ID required). I actually felt gutted. I wasn't the only one, there was no audience reaction and after the film I didn't hear one good comment about it.

Avoid Matrix Revolutions at all costs because it'll only dim your view of the first one.
