At the beginning of October, Albion in the Community staff are travelling to Kosovo to join up with a group of locals and cycle between the four major towns to raise awareness about the country's landmine clearance initiative.

On Thursday 3rd September there will be a night of music and comedy at The Latest Bar (formerly the Joogleberry), Manchester Street, Brighton to raise funds.

Five acts are already confirmed and there will be raffles throughout the evening.

Admission is be just £5. Tickets are available on 01273 687171

It'll be a cracking evening.

Cor. This looks good. Who's the comedians then?

I reckon this could be a great night out. Count me in

Nice one Buzzer.

There could, potentially, be more than three comedians.

There's a shortlist of six, just awaiting confirmation.

Confirmed venue and paid a deposit today, so it's defo happening!

Yep, a fiver.

It'll sell out quick smart, hopefully.

One of the guitarists is bringing a fair few.

Not sure I'll be able to make it down from sticksville on a Thursday night which is a shame as it sounds like it will be a cracking evening for a decent cause.

It gives me great pleasure to announce, in no particular order, the full line-up for the night on 3rd September:

- Brighton's maverick, award-winning improvised comedy troupe, The Maydays
- The Treason Show's effervescent and effortlessly funny Mark Brailsford
- Up and coming stand up talent Richard Morris
- Soulful and Bluesy singer/guitarist Chip
- The amazing Zarbo, a totally unique electric one man band
- DJ set from Family Funktunes.

There'll be a charity raffle too.

All this for just £5!

Tickets will fly. Call 01273 687171 to secure yours.

PS: Can anyone donate any raffle prizes please?

It's just that I've only ever seen Mark do the Treason Show with three others. He's a sketch show artist although he does play a mean guitar. Interesting.
