Saw him play for Brentford at the end of his career and although slower still had it. Your experiences of S/B in live football.

I saw him and Gerry Francis’s QPR beat Leeds 2-0 in their final 1975/76 league game that took them top. A primary school trip from Sussex, somehow the teacher got 30 tickets. SB and Francis were unplayable.

Saw him play at a charity game as the Hove Greyhound Stadium back in the 70s and got his autograph afterwards.

Saw him play in a Charity match in Newhaven. Must have been early 80's. George Best also put in an appearance. At his prime, Bowles was unplayable.

I saw Stanley play at Loftus Road a few times most memorably against Brian Clough's Forest in about 1977 when he made monkeys out of Big Larry Lloyd and Kenny Burns.
