STAG DO's - Budapest

I stayed on a boat hotel, which is ideal for that sort of thing. I was basic, but clean and friendly and the views were fantastic. There are a mixture of single/ double cabins and larger double rooms. Its about 10 minutes walk to all the center. I'd totally recomend it. I think the bigger rooms were about £40/ night.

They take bookings over the net and speak good English.
Have fun.

I went there in June.

Stayed in the Carmen Mini Hotel, about five mins from the Danube. Dirt cheap

Lad who works there 'supports' Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool!!

Most of the people over there are a bit surly, so be warned.

Kursanam = thank you

during my european travels, Budapest seemed the most popular for stag dos, they were everywhere, when you walk down the main strip every pub has a seperate one in, england shirts and burberry everywhere.

Prague also seemed popular, but nevermind,

Anyway budapest is cheap all over really, looking at 50p-£1 a pint, not quite prague but good enough.

In terms of clubs we tried 2, Bahnhoff, and E Klub, both played completely different music, bahnhoff was classic indie/rock, whereas E Klub was european dance, although they did also have a cheese room which was good for Wham - "Wake me UP!" :clap2:

In a pile of football shirts
I'm not sure if they like Gingers over there, but apart from that I hear it's a lovely place.

Its also worth climbing all the way to the top of the cliff-face, you get a fantastic view of Buda and Pest, yes, Buda AND Pest, they are two seperate places, but more famously known together as the capital city. Although take your own water up as its extorianate, what a surprise, saying that its only about £1 for a large bottle :p

If it were england it would be £3 or £4
