One of my all time favourite bands, last saw them at the albert hall about 14 years ago, unfortunately it was one of those ' tonight we're going to play some new stuff ' nights , will still try and see them this time though.

Well as you might expect, I've got my tickets.

3 of the band are from the early yaers, Tillbrook, Difford and John Bentley (base). Drummer and keyboard player are from Glenn Tilbrooks solo touring band. Both are excellent, esp Stephen Large the painist. Closest thing to Jools Holland in playing style.

Expect mainly the hits, although a new Squeeze Album is being written, so there is a chance of some new stuff.

Possibly two of Britains finest ever songwriters, although I am biased.

For those on here who are SE London based, Difford is doing one night at the Albany in Deptford in May. Small venue, only holds a couple of hundred.

he played the albany a couple years ago. apparently a cracking night (couldnt get tickets, rocking horse shit jobs). dunno if hes done any since then?

Yep ...Cooden Beach Hotel & Cranbrook Theatre recently ....tickets are rare but keep an eye on his website and you shouldnt miss out ...both were good nights with only a 100 or so people
