In that part of London that's probably seen as cheap.

Terrible No longer working mans game. Such demand in London can charge what they like. Was told West Ham despite gates of 55 plus have waiting list of 40000

Sorry just looked it up West Ham have 52k season tickets holders and a 45k waiting list

Relegation should substantially cull that number.

Still are also rans aren't they? When did they last win something?

The league cup about 10 years ago I think. They at least now have a genuinely decent team comparable with the best in the division and even in Europe. That hasn't been true anytime in the previous 30 years. They can get away with charging those prices all the time they're fighting for the title and turning over Real Madrid but what happens when they go back to being Everton or Villa again? Will people still pay those crazy prices?

There was an article (a while ago admittedly) that had the demographic of each PL club's fans ranked by average earnings. Spurs were top. Don't know if this is still the case but if so they probably just think (after a load of highly paid research) "**** it, they'll pay".

Best of watching Town play kidda.

Ha haaa...my brother went Saturday and said that town had 80 percent of the play, Swansea had no shots, nor corners and no attempts on goal, but parked the bus.

Looks like Spuds are hell-bent on emulating Arsenal - with a stadium 'full' of football tourists, no atmosphere, and very little prospect of winning anything shinier than the FA cup.....

Don't say that..you will have the " support your local team" brigade out.
It's not like he's the only one on here that supports Spurs instead (I guess comically that should actually read 'as well as') his local team.

It really will happen in no short time. Roy Keane was pilloried at that time about the prawn sandwich brigade, but the Emirates and the new WHL take it to another level with the vast majority of seats priced beyond raucous 'oiks' from the wrong side of the tracks.

I watched a Dortmund game on BT last night. 80,000 rammed in, most having paid for very cheap seats. Great atmosphere.
