In my opinion Wiggins should be in ahead of Cavendish, but Button aside, that is a weak list, so I will have to go for him.

There hasnt been many big sporting events this year. No world cups/Euros, no olympics commonwealth games etc.

I can see Button winning it by a mile

If Lewis Hamilton didn't win it last year then Button should not win it this year.

Strauss, Cavendish OR Ennis for me.

On a serious note,it would be nice if Phil Taylor got a mention!.I think last year was the first time they did actually mention him.The bloke should win it for consistency.

Cav for me. Six stage wins was an awesome achievement and should have had the Green Jersey but for an over-harsh ruling

Sadly he won't because it's nt mainstream enough...

Bit it HAS to be...

TOM DALEY.

An INSANE achievement for his age. A medal at the championship would have been MAD. But to actually have the NERVE to BEAT divers who are at the TOP of their game and take home the world championship while he is still a YOOF is amazing.

Button made the most of anhuge advantage then almost collapsed and lost it.
Haye was a great achievment but can beat daleys feat.

He SHOULD win, but he won't as the public have NO CLUE.

I thought I'd already written, Cav for me, obviously pressed the wrong button.

I don't quite see that logic AT, unless you are using the programme title literally, but hey when was the last time that happened.

Obviously BW's achievement is stunning, but in the cold light of day he was 'only' 4th in Le Tour. (At least that's how a non cyclist would see it).

As Gwylan says Cav did something no other Brit has ever done, in that tour.
But not only that he has repeatedly spanked all of the sprint cycling world, 23 times, from March to September.
