Lord Bracknell
On fire
Following the very public support for the Falmer Stadium campaign that has been given by Lewes Football Club - most recently the statement by Chairman Terry Parris that Lewes District Council should drop its opposition at the forthcoming Public Inquiry - they've run into a bit of bother at the Dripping Pan.
The match sponsor for the Lewes -v- Basingstoke game on Saturday 4th December (who obviously supports the NIMBYs) has pulled out of the sponsorship deal.
This leaves Lewes FC without a sponsor for that match.
An idea ... How about NSC finding the £400 needed to step into the gap?
Anyone up for this?
[Albion are, of course, at home to Rotherham on that day, so we might have to forgo the prawn sandwiches. But whoever said that was the most important thing about being a football supporter?]
