Sponsor pulls out of Lewes match - Should we step in?

Following the very public support for the Falmer Stadium campaign that has been given by Lewes Football Club - most recently the statement by Chairman Terry Parris that Lewes District Council should drop its opposition at the forthcoming Public Inquiry - they've run into a bit of bother at the Dripping Pan.

The match sponsor for the Lewes -v- Basingstoke game on Saturday 4th December (who obviously supports the NIMBYs) has pulled out of the sponsorship deal.

This leaves Lewes FC without a sponsor for that match.

An idea ... How about NSC finding the £400 needed to step into the gap?

Anyone up for this?

[Albion are, of course, at home to Rotherham on that day, so we might have to forgo the prawn sandwiches. But whoever said that was the most important thing about being a football supporter?]

oh great, another fundraising scam...at this rate BHA fans will be down the bank all getting Loans out to "help with further fundraising".
Either that or DK & MP will say "Dont help and say NOTHING as it may comprehend our inquiry next year"

Not got £400, but if you tell us who was going to sponsor the game we can run them!

Aw, come on Crabtree. With NSC's 2880 registered members, it would only cost each one of us 13.8p to raise £400
:p

No Brighton game that day is there? Let take at least £400 worth of support along as well and get their gate receipts up. would only take 30 - 40 of us and could probably better that
