Does anyone know the answer to this.....

If a cam flashes and you are driving towards it on the other side of the road rather than past it on the same side, do you get the fine?

Not unless it is a specifically forward facing one, but they're few and far between.

Got flashed on the old shoreham road today going about 35 mph but the camera was on the other side...was hoping i'd be ok.

all i know was that it was near sussex downs college. i was dropping my mate off after driving back from northampton so wasn't very awake to realise what was going on!

only Nuvelo flash from the front to give fines

the one on the old Shoreham road is an old school Gatsco well used to be) - they flash at oncoming on the otherside of the road , when they have run out of film !!

you can find images of both cameras somewhere on the internet - basically the Nuvello has two round short camera lenses sticking out of it, compared to the Gatsco boxed in style
