I know that someone has sadly lost their life, but this is pretty spectaular for a car accident

Somehow the boy survived, but it will be pretty traumatic for the family still.

Is that car in backwards? Blimey! He must have been going some to do that! I immediately have assumed he was speeding to be honest - maybe he wasn't and it was some kind of car fault - but it would be interesting to see how far from the road that flat was!

The driver (newspaper report said they suspected it to be a deliberate suicide attempt, but how true that actually is, I've no idea).

The occupant of the flat had been in that room until a few seconds before, when she went to empty the washing machine and so avoided injury.
