I know this should be on the ticket section but it is short notice so I am putting on here instead.

I have a spare ticket for Stamford Bridge tomorrow. £26.50 to watch champions league football from the upper tier of the Matthew Harding stand - not only that but you get to sit next to me, Mendoza, Katie Poke and 4 other winners too.

Anyone ???

I am a Brighton fan and normally could not care less about Chelsea - but, I have never been to Stamford bridge, tickets are half price (believe it or not) and I have never seen live champions league football (supporting the albion I probably never will) so a good opportunity to give it a whirl !

Half price, normally £50+ they are having a laugh :O
I found the atmosphere at the 'new' Stamford Bridge to be similar to Withdean crap since, the Shed disappeared. That s the shed at Stamford Bridge not the sports equipment shed at Withdean.

Watching Chelski really doesn't appeal to me. However...mate of mine is an Arsenal season ticket holder and he can't go to the Arsenal v Spurs game in December and has offered it to me.

Brilliant!!

I always consider my 1st ever game was Albion v Swindon in Dec 67 but, in fact, it was not.

A few months earlier. my 1st ever game was Chelsea v Leicester at the Bridge. There must have been a near 40,000 gate and that star packed Chelsea side included Cooke, Osgood, Tambling and Leicester would have had Gordon Banks, if he wasn't injured.

Now, I should have been hooked on Chelsea, seeing them win 4-1, but this was a trip with the Scouts and all I could do was wonder how Albion were getting on against mansfied (won 3-0) and looking forward to going to my 1st match there.

I think this little story just shows that, if it ain't your team, football just isn't the same with out that 'tension'.

The difference between feeling like a casual observer, or a participant.
