Ouch, poor dude. He was great fun at Sheffield the other week, I remember hugging him deliriously when we scored the winner, having spent most of the pre-match warding off awkward questions from him:lolol:

Hope he's back soon, give him my best wishes:wave:

Thanks Steve, we won't do Cardiff but will hopefully find a way to Stoke.

East London - he was the one at Leeds yesterday, totally gutted but it was one of those things - he'll be back.

FFS! Shouldn't we be paying a thought for all those starving people and homeless people out there, and all the 3rd world country's who have feck all? instead of a kid who's broken his leg and is tucked up in a hospital bed having 24 hour treatment.

Get a life for feck sake!

I think it is you that needs to get a life. The idea of the board is to encourage friendship amonst like minded people. So if you met one of your mates in the street, and he told you that his son had broken his leg, would you tell him to get a life? If you can't say anything good then why don't you keep you small minded thoughts to yourself.

Thanks everyone - he'll be back but it was a shocker (as a parent) to say the least.

The good news is his local doctor is well connected on sports injuries but the x-rays were bloody horrendous.

Still several footie mates visited him today and a few will go tomorrow.

A career as assistant manager beckons for the forseeable future ???

Steve, I agree. I think some people need to get their brain in gear before they post!

A lot of us travel to away games together and I'm sorry to hear this sad news.

I hear Terrace went to an away game recently. Perhaps he'll go to another one day!

Ouch.

Tell him to enjoy the days off school as much as he can not being able to move. It'll be hell when back in school on crutches :nono:

Really sorry to hear that, Beachy. It's a nasty injury and very sorry that it's happened to such a nice lad. Best wishes to all of you and a "get well soon" to Alex.

Ouch, poor fella. I have never briken a leg (touch wood) but have been playing football when a friend did (a big ugly 30 something) and the cracking sound wasn't pleasant. Nor was watching him in agony unable to do anything.

Still we went on to win and I scored the winning goal:)

Is this the boy who was putting things like parp in google?

I agree.
Send him our love and tell him to keep his chin up. He'll be playing as well as ever next season. Look at Gary Hart. There's an inspiration for him.

Obviously not a parent, or if so have they been taken into care.

Hope you get well soon little Beach Hut

Are you trying to win the annual Watford O award for being obnoxious ?
