According to Brian Owen Dave has asked if he can come back to us.
Apparently had a decent season with Lupo.
Takes a mean spot kick and he did score more goals while here than our "hitmen" did last season.

Would be a MONUMENTAL waste of time. He is the absolute antithesis of the athletic, disciplined, hard working Hughton ideal of a midfielder. Would never play.

I can't see any room for him in the squad. He was OK at right back and when he had that free role (end of poyets era) but not as a winger.

Agree...not a Hughton player. A year older and wouldn't feature much methinks. Let's just remember Spanish Dave for the good moments and the free kick against Palace.

One more. I see your point however we dont particually have any players who can play out wide. Certainly not starting 11 but could fill in on the right. Although with Calde, Bruno and Rosenior who all

Spanish Dave got 9 goals that season, about ten assists and never missed a penalty.

A spectacularly awful second season with the Albion. Too slow, lazy, weak in the tackle and seemingly disinterested for most of that campaign.
