Because he wasn't quality before, us?

I do know what you mean though.

He and Orlandi both needed a run in the side before finally getting comfortable.

I hope everyone is paying attention to that when looking at Spanish Len.

If you knew what I meant, why start with that silly opening line

The problem is, most players need a bit of a run. We've got a lot of decent players, but they can't all get regular game time, and it's affecting them.

I must admit I doubted it at the time, but I was told a few months ago that Lopez was top draw. On the evidence of the last few weeks, this info was spot on. He looks sheer quality and easily able to hold himself at this level and above as well. Poyet is putting together a seriously talented bunch of players, much better than our league position I would suggest.
 Kev is being positive

Is that the Spanish Len who is Argentinian?

I really don't understand how people ever doubted the quality of a player with about 8 years top flight experience, including 5 years in a decent Bilbao side.

Extend his contract now!

and in a team that won The Copa Del Ray and The Europa Cup last season if I'm not mistaken......

He's a gem. You don't need to worry when Spanish Dave is in the team.

Very much a footballer moulded in the way Brighton want to play. Comfortable on the ball and able to play other position, I will be happy to see him sign for longer.

Personally I think we still have a weak underbelly in the squad, but we are just one midfield brick shithouse, who can play a bit away from being complete.

Personally, not sure we even have a weak underbelly to be honest. I feel our real weakness is someone up top who can link up with the midfield, hold the ball up, bring others into play and allow the 5 man midfield a chance to overlap and get forward. At the moment, while CMS has certain attributes, his ball retention and distribution is not much better than poor. Ulloa could make a massive difference in the coming weeks.

I just wanted to add that Spanish Dave has nearly 46,000 followers on twitter. FLAIR.

Yeah and miss Soprano is one of them
I'll be sitting at home and she'll say "Spanish Dave has just boarded the coach on the way to Birmingham game , oh and look he's posted a picture of the snow from the coach "
Oh great

Indeed. Because he didn't shine in his first few limited appearances in English football, people wrote him off. Crazy. The fact he can cover as a great right back was an added bonus as well.

I'm well up for that - just so long as he cuts out the amateur dramatics. I live in hope.
