Our new legend ,Spanish Dave has been quoted as saying(in argus ) he wants to see out the rest of his career with the Albion ,he's still only 30 and reckons he's got another 4 years left in him .
Don't know about you but what great news he's getting better & better every game he plays

He's turning into a quality player for us. This is good news
Because he wasn't quality before, us?

I do know what you mean though.

He and Orlandi both needed a run in the side before finally getting comfortable.

I hope everyone is paying attention to that when looking at Spanish Len.

With Dave saying this it must also mean, all the time we keep Gus, he'll be shopping in Spain.
It won't take long for the positive vibe to make it's way down there, if it hasn't already, as well as increasing our Spanish media profile.

gets better every game, has the best delivery of a ball in the side.

Excited for when we have 4 Spaniards in the side with an Argie Bargie.

I must admit I doubted it at the time, but I was told a few months ago that Lopez was top draw. On the evidence of the last few weeks, this info was spot on. He looks sheer quality and easily able to hold himself at this level and above as well. Poyet is putting together a seriously talented bunch of players, much better than our league position I would suggest. Personally I think we still have a weak underbelly in the squad, but we are just one midfield brick shithouse, who can play a bit away from being complete.

Its taken a while for him to settle, but we're now seeing why Gus brought him in. Versatile and accomplished, he looks a completely different player to the one we first saw.

Its a yes from me.

Excellent news. Quite apart from anything else, including how outrageously CULTURED his football is, it shows that players are buying into the 'project' (sorry to have to use that word).

He is one player who would benefit from playing in the Premier League compared to the rush rush rush of the championship.

I'm looking forward to seeing him on Saturday against arsenal as I think the tempo will be suited to his style of play

Guessing he's negotiating a new deal as he only signed a 1 year deal initially, great news if he is

I have to admit after the first 3 or 4 games he played, I did wonder what Gus had seen in him and what the fuss was about.

But now I am a big fan, hes not going to go past a player, but his football brain is top class, touch is first class can spot a pass and delivery is is very good.

Its a yes from me, a 2yr deal should be awarded.

I really don't understand how people ever doubted the quality of a player with about 8 years top flight experience, including 5 years in a decent Bilbao side.

Extend his contract now!

Pity then that Welsh Steve couldn't get a run in the team
