Way out west
Fair point, most of the people involved in the incident I mentioned were aged 20-30, some I have seen getting stuck in at Albion away games in the past.

I think it's you thats the halfwit US. I know a lot of the Lancing kids who are wound up about the currant tensions going on and they come from very good homes including my own kids. It's no wonder kids of today are having trouble getting anywhere in life when there's narrow minded people like yourself ready to put them down & catagorise them without even knowing them. :nono:
and as ive been told, these arent kids they are late teens,on mopeds etc

Still kids though, This sort of thing has beeen going on for years but too many people forget what they were like at that age and think it's something thats only just been invented. How many people come on message boards remeniscing about the days of Mods & Rockers on Brighton seafront and what a good film Quadrophinia is. These days kids are just Chav's or hoodies who have no place in society, but at the end of the day it's still kids riding round on bikes looking for a fight or a leg over.

I'd imagine the core are the ones who are to old for school but too young for pubs with nowhere to actually go with a sprinkling of school kids who think they are doing something hard by hanging round with the older ones and a few older ones who are just sad.

I might have known the Poles would be involved. First they come into our Country, work hard and take our jobs. Now they are galivanting around with the local Chavs. :nono:

yeah and then those spades come along and get involved too, what is the world coming to?

You'll allways get a few sad ones who would'nt accept help if it was handed on a plate, But there's a lot of good kids out there who could make something of their lives if given the chance.

The Pilot isn't too bad, I haven't seen a rumble in there, and have met good people and ate okay food there. Not cordon bleu, but okay.

The Schooner appears to have gone a bit disco, so that'll be chavvy soon if not already. The Ship is a dive, great for roast lunches and dead cheap. The building worker-type lads go there, locals in a local pub.
The Cricketers can be a bit of poseur paradise sometimes, slappers admiring tattood lugs and geezers biggin' themselves up etc. Alright in the daytime though.

The Romans is okay but a bit dull.
The Stanley Arms near Boundary Rd. is the alright, CAMRA real ales and sometimes decent musicians play there.

You forgot the Windmill. (opposite the mitsubitshi garage)

Ive been in there a few times and the last time i was in there some people were playing catch with the f***ing DARTS!!

I quite like the Cricks, its a good place to go for a few pre-town bevvies or for an afternoon pint or 2.

I'd agree with that. Point I was trying to make was that the core between 16-18 have nowhere to go therefore things like this is a bit of excitement away from the norm. Once they can get in pubs and clubs a fair number stop getting involved except those sad few mentioned above.

Saying that didn't overhear anything in Boundstone today but then again everyone was too busy throwing snow at each other.

I remember the BBC speaking of a southwick soldiers website a few years back, I never did find it, does anyone know the address of a website that may exist for these brave young citizens?

There was a website and the argus first told everyone about it but it was password protected so you couldnt get access to it unless you knew one of them.

Quite clever these chavvey ****s aint they!
