I done overtime at work today to make up the time for when i sneak away early on tuesday!!
I've already got my match ticket so i will be there

Mine at Southend was "Bring on the Champions"

...needless to say we got beaten 2-0 and Kuipers was substituted at half time

ah yes, but we finished the season as Champions didn't we! Prophetic we were that day!

Is that the day that someone tried to set fire to the steward?

It wa s the day some nut tried to start a fight in their east stand on his own, the lads threw a waste bin into the ground because their hard, the stewards started a fight with all of us cos they are stupid, we were all over the sea front , we had over half the ground, didn't we total 4,000 that day out of 7,000. And Adams tactics played for a draw so we lost.

Im back at uni and no trains back from Southend on the night to get back to Canterbury

Get off at Prittlewell. New bar in town called Varsity which is nice.

i would offer you a lift saafend, but going from work(crayford) and no room in vehicle on way back , sorry .
