I thought it strange that, with them only 66 miles away and therefor a very close rival, at one point both fans were declaring their hatred for Palace & Bournemouth simultaneously.

You found it strange that both clubs declaring hatred for their respective rivals? I'd have been more surprised at either a Brighton or Southampton fan refer to the other as a rival.

Southampton are just another club to me. They register as much as Stoke, Exeter, Cardiff or Newcastle. As for very close rival, Southampton are as close to us as Vicarage Road. There are 5 other clubs in this league nearer than Southampton's ground.

Only heard them when they were 1-0 up. As soon as we scored I didn't hear them again. Good when 1-0 up, piss poor at 1-1.

I thought they were the loudest this season, albeit with a very, very low standard so far.

As soon as Murray scored though I didn't hear them again.
