Any video of the big stitch up? Had a quick search on Youtube but couldn't find anything.

As much as we go on about this stitch up, it has to be said that it pales into insignificance when compared to what had happened at Coventry v Bristol City a year before.

Don't think I want to be reminded of that day.
Funnily enough, even after all this time, I still recall that day with quite a lot of bitterness.

No video as it was a total bore and nothing to see.

Aside from play off finals, the Blackpool game that day has to rank as the most incredible atmo game I've been at, was probably the day that cemented my lifelong support for Albion, so some good came of it!

All tapes destroyed. Who wants to see 90 mins of a ball sitting on the centre spot.

If I remember correctly ITV did show brief "highlights" of that game on The Big Match. Total stitch up.

Tha atmosphere at the Goldstone was incredible that day. So many people rammed in, i could only see half the pitch! (i was 14)

I do remember one of spurs or soton hitting a post or bar during their 'stitch up' - who knows??

time to move on....:)

Part of the atmosphere was continual rumours that Saints had scored. I was immensely proud that day of the team, they could not have done any more that season. And of course it set us up nicely for the following year.
