Live on Sky tonight in Paintpot Trophy
Chance to see two of our next four opponents in the League
Wonder if Gus will be down there taking a few notes

Saints full strength tonight bar changing the keeper (but the reserve keeper is v good anyway). Charlton make 6 changes. Hammond and Harding start.

All set for a cracking game, I'll be flicking between this and Rochdale v Luton on ITV4.

Southampton are 1-0 and looking good. Gus couldn't have had a much tougher start than the game on Sunday,

Charlton are WOEFUL.....Southampton play at a fast tempo but I'm not overly concerned about Sunday watching the first half, Connelly looks a class above the rest though. Hammond V Crofts should be interesting :) Antonio looks quick but has an awfull first touch, Lambert will need our strongest header marking him at set plays, Harding looks assured but we (the crowd) can unsettle him.

We're never 9/2 shots if Gus has any influence between now and Sunday....

We all know exactly what harm Lambert can do to us and what effect Hammond can have on a team.

I would like to see Murray and Forster trying to encourage Hammond to tackle in and around their box as this is his major weakness, reckless tackles.

I actually stayed in the pub all evening to watch this. Sad? Alcohol problems? Probably.

Saints looked good. Mauricio is going to have to work a miracle on our back four in the next 4 days

Enjoyable game to watch.

Saints looked a very good side and full of confidence at the moment.Rickie Lambert's goal was a bit fortunate to go in but he's bang in form-5 goals in 5 matches now. It's going to be a really tough game on Sunday for us but can't wait!:drink::drink::drink::drink:

Enjoyed the game in the directors box thanks to Mr Phil Parkinson. Kevin Blackwell was also watching the game from the box and left midway through the 2nd half, possibly scouting players from either team.

Southampton dominated game easily. Charlton were woeful at times. Jonjo Shelvey, who I've heard good things about from my Charlton supporting-mate, was very off-key!
