Blackstock arrived on the south coast from Oxford in May 2003 and has scored consistently for Saints' reserves and Under-19s. Netted seven times to help the second string finish third in the Barclaycard Premiership Reserve League South in 2003-2004. A quick and powerful striker, Blackstock enjoyed a winning debut for England Under-18s against Belgium in April.
