If we can get up to 270, then there's still a chance

Why didnt Broad come into bat next before Rashid.?

Well Rashid has got 31 off 20 balls thus far, so not disappointed with that.

Edit: And Broad hit 6 off 6 and then got out, so there's your answer :lolol:

Textbook STUPIDITY from Broad. Rashid was hitting plenty of runs, Broad just needed to give him the strike.

The Golden Child does it again, literally hauling us back into the match (with some lovely cameos from the tail). We still only have a slim chance but that's better than no chance. It's good to see him converting the half centuries with a bit more regularity.

Unless one of the England bowlers gets de Kock out pretty soon... this will be a non-event :nono:

21-1(5 overs)

Let's Marvin Gaye and get in on...

I tried. Just went downstairs for a smoke and make a cuppa, but came back to no wicket

Oops. Who pulled the plug? Players standing round in the gloom. 53-1 (10.2 overs)

The 'look away for a few minutes' tactic obviously only works when England are batting :nono:

As an aside, do you think the TAUNTING that de Kock probably got at school about his name has propelled him to his current state of being a steely eyed assassin of bowling attacks? :lolol:

Hate to say it as a Sussex man through and through but Woakes is a better bowler than Jordan and a better batter.

Seems madness that Woakes isn't in the T20 squad. I'm still not convinced (but am hopeful) that he can be a proper test bowler but he should be in both limited overs sides.
