I perceived a lack of communication between Sully and the back-line last night.
More than once, the ball was played over the top and there was no end of uncertainty as to whose ball it was.
Good point, and I'd say it was the art of good management, judging which games to play your inexperienced keeper in order to give him that exposure. The other fact is that it's much harder for a keeper to come through when he's in behind a shaky, unsettled back 4. And that really is THICKY's fault isn't it.Just a question like, but how do you make an inexperienced keeper, experienced ? without actually playing him at a higher level than the reserves.

But how much will a player develop and learn if you only play him in games where he's not going to be challenged?
Added to this that we do not have a goalkeeper coach.
I wouldn't play Kuipers until he has has a full reserve/training game in goal.
This may have already happened - I don't know. But, I do not think it is wise to throw a player straight back into the team after 2 months out, regardless of the position they play.
Reserve game tonight, I imagine Kuipers will be selected ahead of Pelling.
We have an expereinced keeper, and are gaining another. I think the defense has a lot more to blame for the goals conceded by John the past few weeks.

Oh my god - one poor game and you've resigned him to the reserves for the rest of the season...Believe it or not, sometimes goalkeepers have bad games as well.
Til last night, Sullivan has hadrly put a foot wrong since coming in for Kuipers before Xmas and whilst I like Kuipers, Sullivan doesn't deserve to be dropped just because of one average performance. FFS if that was the case, then I can name a few other players who should be dropped ahead of him!

How can sully get experience if we don't play him because he's not experienced?
