Leg out of the bed
Celine Dion singing the title song to Titanic

One line cracks me totally

'Love can touch us one time, and last for a lifetime.............'

Oh, to be in love (at some as yet undetermined future moment......)

:)

Fruit Tree by Nick Drake always brings tears to my eyes too. Much the same can be said of the whole Five Leaves Left album tbh. Hauntingly beautiful music.

I always fill up to that one too.

And Living Years, Mike and the Mechanics

I got on great with my old man but Living years reminds me of just how much I miss him 17 years on.

Now that one always make me laugh.......

'She crashed the car and she was sad.
and so afraid that I`d be mad,
but what the heck.'

We`ve all said that when our partners have pranged the motor, haven`t we ?

I'll go with that, almost 9 years now. Just after I lost mine, we were walking around Asda when it started playing over the internal system, you feel such a pratt walking around Asda with tears streaming down your cheeks :cry:

Celine Dion singing the title song to Titanic

Now, look, I am sure that in Roland Barthes's imagination there are indeed selves who think Celine Dion singing the theme tune to Titanic is bearable (it is, after all, the kind of consumerist crap he secretly adores), let alone good, or emotional, or something, but this is the all-too-real world (up yours, Barthes!), and in this world it's just a pile of meaningless, emotion-free drivel.

This one sends shivers down the NMH spine every time

This one does come close, again for the tragic doomed lady pathos;

Nobody does this Beatles song better than Jackson Browne and (coincidentally) Jennifer Warnes either;
