The premise of this song is a bloke who has been stitched up for a robbery but he can't use his alibi as he was in bed his best friends wife at the time. So far so good. However, it then goes on to say that after he gets out, him and his mates wife want to be together. If that's the case, why doesn't he just fess up about their affair now and save himself a jail sentence?
