A lot of 1970's Krautrock such as Can, Neu!, Faust and Kraftwerk were hard work at first because they were so non mainstream, even when compared to some of the more alternative Bands in the UK.

Well done to John Peel, I doubt if any of it would get Radio One airtime today!
