The first song that sprang to mine was by this same band but then it occured to me they were sleigh bells not cow bells (clearly another thread required).
However The Logical Song by Supertramp does feature a cowbell...

I'm sure Steve Hillage employed the use of a cowbell in some of his "L" era tracks. Haven't got time to check at the moment.

Paul McCartney is credited for cowbells on the Beatles' "It's All Too Much" which coincidentally Steve Hillage covered on his album "L". I'm not sure if he himself deployed a cowbell on his recording of the song....
