To the tune of Ob-la-di

The lad from Kawasaki really knows his game
In and out he weaves around your team
The lads from Bright’-an’ove-Albion will be singing his name
He’s the greatest winger we have ever seen

Ob-la-di, ob-la-da
Oh Mitoma
Dribbling past you all day long

Ob-la-di, ob-la-da
Oh Mitoma
Scored before your lights go on

Other than the obvious reason....
I was attempting (perhaps naively) to get us singing the correct pronunciation with the emphasis on MEE

Glad All Over requires the anglicised version with the emphasis on TOE

This Girl provides the perfect rhythm for his name and is about as basic as a song as you can get.

"He came from Kawasaki, he gets on his bike
He's got lightning speed and a thunderbolt strike
Oh Mitoma! Mi-mi-mi-Mitoma!
He slices through defences like they're not really there
With his ninja moves and his Samurai stare
Oh Mitoma! Mi-mi-mi-Mitoma!"

Mi-to-ma my lord. Mi-to-ma.
Mi-to-ma my lord. Mi-to-ma.
