Nah it's beneath a club like us ,only relegated teams full of losers play down there.[/QUOTE

I like this quote from BBS:

The club continues to lose money hand over fist, didnt 2010 say they covered a £3-4M loss last season? & that included the cup run! Why are we trialling that keeper? Is Speroni next of the "high earners" to leave?? 2010 want a sustainable future, which im pretty sure we all agree with,so unfortunately that means we have to cut our cloth accordingly & if we cant afford to sign the players we need & pay the going rate wages wise then thats that im afraid!

Maybe our future as a club does lie in League 1 or dare i say it 2!! With crowds down & freedmans negative tactics sending the rest of us asleep i cant see how we are gonna get them back! (Do you seriously believe he will change his spots & play open, attractive football this coming season!? I dont! More of the same i reckon! ). So we will have to sell just to survive,So maybe we will become the new Crewe, bob around the lower
leagues, occassionly making the Championship but basically having a great youth setup.
which produces Gems which we then sell on quickly.

Counterbalances some of the brainwashed individuals we have visiting here from that sorry club. :)

I cannot find the post from about 6 months ago where I pointed out all the Palace players that would go to balance the books. Clyne , Scannell and Ambrose have departed , up to now the only two still remaining on my list are Zaha and Speroni. I remember Glenn-Murray swore blind that nobody would leave in the summer as Palace were not a selling club

crystal palace were relegated from the top division in 1973 and once again in the following season. That left the club playing in the third tier of English football for the 1974–75 season,

makes you a team full of losers by your own admission !!

Out of interest how many relegations have you had since 1973.How much time you spent rubbing shoulders with Boston Utd ,Macclesfield etc in that time?

Yes we have them too...but not so many people who think BHA only existed since they moved to the Amex.A bit like those who think football started with the premiership...

Keep reassuring yourself if you wish. Ignore your ' proud' recent history which kept you above your fair position. Concentrate on that rather than us living within our means. Forget that we were put into a position that no other club of our size in the history of football had ever been in. Forget our historically good support. Content yourself with your delusions. I've a feeling you won't be on this forum come May for some reason or other.

That's history our administration as you keep saying .We are still here and won't be going anywhere so get used to it.
We would never let our ground be raped and pillaged from under our feet.
See we all have a shameful history

We were told the ground had to be sold to pay back a £6M directors loan (to settle the estate of a deceased director) amongst other things. Luckily for us the owner at the time was exposed as a club killer. Investigative journalism , fans with experience of legal minutiae and forensic accountancy skills started the ball rolling which eventually saved the club from extinction. 15 years later we have become YOUR superiors.

p.s. Ask yourself a question , why didn't the rioters raze Smellhurst to the ground last year ?

Palace tradition.
30 years in the top two divisions funded by money that you didn't have. No proud tradition there, unless its a tradition of not paying what you owe.

Mullery was right about you.

The truth quite evidently hurts. You don't have any ground to stand on. Your argument is bereft of anything that approaches any understanding of obligations, common decency and duty. You exalt in the fact that your club maintained its position through not paying the people you owed. Local London and Croydon firms and individuals were hurt but you don't care. Fellow football clubs were cheated but that doesn't register. Unlike some of the more reasonable palace fans on here you have displayed no integrity in your reply and bring shame on your fellow fans and club.

Wow, if people are getting erections from having higher attendances than Palace, just imagine the cumfest if we actually beat them in a football match.

Referring to how comfortably we finished above them actually.

Listen pal I don't give 2 shits what you think about our administrations that's just the way it goes.If you lot had been turning up at the Goldstone like you do at Amex I'm sure your ground wouldn't have been sold off.
As you lot keep saying punters = money. You had under 10 thousand in those days before thd big sell off so dont give me that old bull.
Shame on myself and fellow supporters ?coming from fans who mock the London riots and the devastation that caused our local community.
I suppose anything goes in banter you will say ?
Personally some of you bring enough shame on yourself .

Looks like another feeble excuse , they couldn't get Ross McCormack so attention switched a French L2 player who would only cost £200k  Look here : EXCLUSIVE: Crystal Palace boss decides against signing Alexis Allart and Peter Kurucz | This is Croydon

Old news pal..He still might yet notch the winner against you lot whoever he is.Time will tell if we are good enough or not or BHA for that matter.
Seems a lot of false bravado on here.Better than a 3.5 million flop up front I guess

Prepare to be mesmerised by Vicente this season supplying Hoskins and CMS with the ammunition.

It's a shame that you 'don't give2 shits' about your administrations. I would have thought that as you profess to care for your community regarding your statement about the devastation caused by the riots, that you would also care for the devastation your club caused to your local community businesses who suffered through non payment for services rendered. But then i don't suppose you care about having dual standards. If that was my club i would not be speaking in that way but hey ho it takes all sorts....

I agree with the last statement you made and i have personally never slated you londoners for the actions of a minority in the riots. We were talking purely about football matters. In that respect, if we had lived beyond our means as you did for so long, then perhaps our gates would not have dipped so much but they only got to that level after years of trouble. The great and wonderful crystal palace would also have suffered lower gates given the same kind of treatment.

I notice many palace fans state that our history for many of us started in 2011. Well i notice that you have lost more than 10000 'fans' since you were in the premier league last. Does that mean that your club started in 2004 and ended in 2005?

Speaking of him, I haven't noticed him on here for quite some time. Did he get banned or just flounce?

Translates to: 'outside potless Palace's price range'

Well the fans tried to turn up at Aldershot as requested by the Palace chairman. The gate was just over 1300 with around 500 Palace fans, which to be fair to them is not bad for a game around 50 miles away.
So it is possible they got around £4k for the game so they can pay Murray up to Wednesday of next week.
