[Albion] Some chants just aren't used anymore

Maybe some other of these can get an airing today to help us be RDZ’s 12th man.

I don’t think it’s already been mentioned on here but I used to often hear:

“Brighton’n’hove Albion are we are we are we
Are we are we are we
Are we are we are we

You are talking shit. What Boxing Day game against Palace were you there? Most clubs up and down the country sing that song about a rival club.
Not sure if it’s the “Boxing Day” bit that’s being challenged here but a simple google search showed Boxing Day matches in 1979 and 1983. Between those years there was also a match on the 27th

You look in the dustbin for something to eat, you find a dead cat and you think its a treat in your northern slums, in your northern slums (then repeat)

I’d very much like to see a return of the faster “Albion Albion Albion”

And more of the “seagulls seagulls seagulls”

I vaguely remember back in the 80s there being a “Come on you blues” rolling round the Goldstone for a few seasons.
Absolutely this. I hate the melancholy Alllll-beeeee-ooooon drone. Likewise, it's weird that nobody chants 'Seagulls' for corners any more. Used to be everyone with a sea of pointing hands (leading to the famous police 'intelligence' fascist confusion in the 80s/90s). That would have been really impressive at Wembley when we were putting the pressure on - and so easy to join in. Love the more inventive chants but very few are going to get everyone involved.

Ali Mac is his name
Insert something that rhymes with name
And we don't mention Propper anymore.

Good chant that was ... could adapt for RDZ:

Who's that man from Sassuolo
Who's that man we all adore,
Roberto is his name
And we score three goals a game
And we don't mention Potter any more.

Plus I just don't get why the other one touted on here has never caught on:

Gimme gimme gimme
Roberto De Zerbi
He'll take us on a journey to the Europa League

I'm working on something to Rick Astley's classic hit.

Only words so far are "[run around] and De Zerbi...."

Two great goals for Gross today but no Gross songs to celebrate. How about?

To John Denver - Country Road:

Pascal Gross, Pascal Gross [Country road, Take me home]

In blue & white, he belongs. [To the place, I belong]

He’s a German, he loves a Cryff turn [West Virginia, Mountain Mamma]

Pascal Gross, Pascal Gross. [Take me home, Country road ]
