Lives down my road, son of Steve March who used to play for Hailsham, very highly rated, I heard last week he was going to either Newcastle or QPR

at least when we swoop there is a reaction............................................it seems that marching just doesn't cut it :(

Looks like the close to home factor swung it. This wouldn't have factored against the likes of Newcastle and QPR in the past due to the state of the club... just another reason to be cheerful about the new Albion and the AMEX and all the rest!

I agree, seems odd.

They could have always gone to thesaurus, typed in swoop and picked one of the following: dive, fall, plummet, plunge, pounce, rush, slide, stoop, sweep

Dont know about him coming through the Lewes system. Used to play against our lads for Hailsham in successive age groups and then went on to Eastbourne Borough. Always stood out.
