oh i know, someone else posted this, i love brighton, i do, seen them at withdean and now the amex, im only 22, been to countless away games, my first being the playoff final! but some people on here think that jobs and bills dont exist

Costing me over £100 to go to Leeds next Saturday, I can guarantee the OP won't be going, but obviously he'll say he is. I didn't go yesterday for my own personal reasons that have nothing to do with him, but it had nothing to do with cold weather. I think the guy is bored and in need of a whinge because he has nothing better to do with his life. There were still over 20k at the game, more than say the Blackpool game on a nice warm day... it's just incredible how some people have to find any reason whatsoever to have a go at fellow fans. Probably an insecure life.

Come to the wsu - you will love it....

I have sat up there twice for Palace and West Ham - but we lost both times!!! I'm reluctant to go up there again but I think for this one I actually might go up there again as I reckon it's got to be warmer up there than it was yesterday in Row D WSL.

who mentioned knuckle dragging ? i accept that some peole might have the issues you mentioned but on the whole we're back to the fair weather/errant season ticket fans scenario , hope the season don't go tits up or we'll be down to 15k

I think the issue is that the there are a lot of season ticket holders that are hot die hard fans and have a high disposal income.
The diehard fans will always go no matter what.
And for those who's season tickets cost a significant part of their "entertainment fund" feel compelled to go to justify the outlay to ensure they get value for money.

But the season tickets holder that do not fall into this categories pick and choose which games to attend, being cold it just one reason they don't attend.
The knuckle dragging reference in response to your suggestion there were "soft boys" for not attending a football match as if to say they weren't "hard".
Of did I misread your intended use of the term soft boys?

What's all the fuss about.

Bigger overall attendance than Doncaster, Blackpool, Peterborough ,Hull , Barnsley ,Coventry and Burnley. Even taking into away numbers it is very comparable to rest of the season and better than a couple of games for home numbers - Forest and Coventry.

It was cold yesterday - I froze and I was wrapped up really warm -

My little girl was freezing - too but she coped ok - I had her well wrapped up and my bro gave her his jacket too in the end!

I'm seriously wondering if I should take her to Millwall if it's as cold - being a night match?

I have the loan of a couple of ST for WSU that night so I may drag her upstairs instead - it might be warmer up there than downstairs -

If I decide not to take her - I'll be on my own valentines night but I don't want her freezing to death and then put off by being cold

Put some warm clothes on then, it was -21 when I walked home here last night and I was only a bit cold because I dressed properly, if I can do it I'm sure you can do it when the temperature is barely below zero.

I had loads of layers on - two pairs of socks, three layers on top and a ski jacket but sat still for 90 mins it was cold. I wasn't cold walking to the station - but sat still I was freezing.
